This pretty young lady is Nibbles (you have already seen the rabbit of the same name) who is with us until Tuesday of next week.
As with most hamsters, she spends a lot of time during the day asleep, but around 6.30pm she comes out for her food and a run out in her hamster ball. She spends about 20-25 minutes in this ball and covers a fair amount of ground for such a small creature.
When given her food she tends to store it in her cheeks before depositing it in the tube attached to her cage, where she goes back to during the night for a midnight feast.
