Lola the Hamster

This is Lola the Hamster as promised.
She was awake earlier this afternoon and came out for a snack on her broccoli, which she thoroughly enjoys.
Later this evening we fully expect to see her again, when she comes out to do her cage aerobics. This is where she swings on the top bars of her cage from one end to the other, over and over again. She is very clever and I will try to get a video of her performance later.

More Bank Holiday Residents

Here are some more of our holiday residents, and as you can see, we have more than our fair share of tortoises in the house at the moment.
We still have our normal quota of rabbits and guinea pigs as well....oh! and a hamster, but she is sleeping at the moment, so will get some shots of her this evening.

Holiday Residents

Due to time constraints and numbers we don't have time to do individual write ups on all our holiday residents at the moment, so here is a selection of some of them.
Needless to say they are all doing well and enjoying the warmth and sunshine we are having this weekend, after o a cold and windy week previously.

Alfie

We have a beautiful French Lop staying with us this week, Alfie is like a big "Teddy Bear".  He is a very special boy and loves cuddles but if things aren't going his way, he is quick to tell you.  Alfie is on some meds and so far has been very good at taking them for us.  He is a big boy much bigger than any of our frenchies so quite an armful.

Here he is relaxing in his hutch, we have noticed he is not big on exercises but then what french is.....

Humphrey

Humphrey has been staying with us as he has been poorly but he is much better now after lots of special care and his medicines.  He will continue to stay with us whilst his Bunny Mom is on holiday and will go home in about 2 weeks time.

Moo

Moo is staying with us for a long holiday and has been doing very well.  She enjoys cuddles and playtime and sunbathing on our patio.  Moo is with us for another week but I am sure she will be looking forward to seeing her Bunny Mom & Dad when she goes home.
